الملخص
مما تقدم في دراسة التوزيع الجغرافي لسكان مركز قضاء الشرقاط حسب المقاطعات تبين هنالك زيادة في عدد السكان من خلال استخراج معدل النمو السكاني وكانت الزيادة بسبب عوامل طبيعية وبشرية ,لعبت العوامل البشرية دورا كبيرا في تركز السكان حيث وجود الخدمات التعليمية والصحية والنشاط الاقتصادي كالصناعة والتجارة في مقاطعات مركز القضاء ,كما كان لوجود نهر دجلة الدور البارز في توزيع السكان واختلاف كثافتهم بين المقاطعات هذا, فضلا عن عدم تناغم الكثافة بين الريف والحضر وحتى على مستوى المقاطعات بسبب تباين المساحة والعوامل البشرية , ومن خلال دراسة بعض الطرق للتوزيع الكمي للسكان نجد أنهم يتركزون في بعض المناطق , وعند تطبيق مؤشر إعادة التوزيع السكاني تبن هناك عدد ليس بالقليل من السكان من المفترض إعادة توزيعهم على بعض المقاطعات الذي سجلت اقل كثافة سكانية
