Spatial Variation of Community Services in the Center of Nimrud District

Abstract
The research aims to identify the reality of the spatial distribution of community service institutions in the center of Nimrud district, by revealing the extent of their spatial distribution balance, knowing the problems they suffer from, and evaluating the level of community services in the center of the district in order to reach appropriate solutions through the use of a number of indicators and planning standards. The research relied on the descriptive approach and quantitative analysis using some techniques and analyzing the reality of the geographical distribution of community services wherever appropriate community services mean the use of land that is available in cities according to special dimensions for carrying out activities or performing specific functions on a regular basis, which makes the institutions that provide these functions of great importance in achieving and developing social relations, which contribute to creating a sound settlement environment, which is represented by educational, health, religious, electricity, and drinking water services. The research concluded that the centers of community services in the center of Nimrud district were consistent with the distribution of population and the pattern of their movement was equal to the direction of the distribution of population density and their spatial concentration.
