الآثار المناخية للعواصف الغبارية على زراعة الحمضيات في قضاء الضلوعية

الملخص
يهدف البحث الى معرفة حجم التأثيرات المناخية للعواصف الغبارية على إنتاج الحمضيات من حيث الكمية والنوعية. اذ تتناول هذه الدراسة إحدى المشكلات البيئية التي تواجه الزراعة في قضاء الضلوعية، ألا وهي تأثير العواصف الغبارية على زراعة الحمضيات. وقد تبين أن هذه الظاهرة قد ساهمت بشكل كبير في تراجع الإنتاج الزراعي في المنطقة، إذ أدى تكرار العواصف الغبارية إلى تقليص المساحات المزروعة بالحمضيات وانخفاض مستمر في كميات الإنتاج. وأشارت النتائج إلى أن غالبية العواصف الغبارية التي تؤثر على القضاء كانت خارجية المصدر، وتفاقم تأثيرها بفعل العوامل الطبيعية المحلية، وأبرزها التعرية الهوائية، وارتفاع معدلات التبخر، وانخفاض مستويات الرطوبة، وخاصة خلال فصل الصيف الذي يتميز بالجفاف الشديد وارتفاع درجات الحرارة. كما أثبتت الدراسة أن للعواصف الترابية تأثيرًا سلبيًا مباشرًا على صحة وإنتاجية أشجار الحمضيات، إذ تسد المسام وتقلل من كفاءة عملية التمثيل الضوئي، مما يضعف نمو الأشجار ويقلل من جودة الثمار. وعلى العكس من ذلك، وجد أن الغبار العالق والمتصاعد يمكن أن يكون له تأثير إيجابي محدود، اذ يساهم في خفض درجات حرارة سطح النباتات من خلال تقليل كمية الإشعاع الشمسي المباشر، مما يؤدي إلى تخفيف الإجهاد الحراري الذي تتعرض له الأشجار خلال فترات ذروة الحرارة.
