Abstract

The research is one of the geographical studies that revolves around the field of applied agricultural climate. The study relied on climatic data for two hypothetical NASA stations within the study area. The first station is in the northwest of the district and the second station is in the southeast of the district for the period (1990-2020). The research dealt with analyzing the temporal and spatial variation of the actual solar brightness in the study area and examined its effects on the productivity of wheat crops during the study period. Average for the first station during the third climatic cycle is (11.1) Mj / M2 in December, and the lowest average for the second station during the second climatic cycle is (10) Mi/M2 in January. This led to a discrepancy and fluctuation in the production quantities of the wheat crop from one year to another during the study period.  The highest  amount of production, which was about (36730) tons, was in 2019, while the lowest productivity, which was recorded about (6140) tons, was in 1992.
