الملخص
يهدف البحث الى تسليط الضوء على الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية والالغاء التدريجي لمحطة كاجنيو 1974-1976, اذ بدأت الولايات المتحدة التفكير بجدية عدم الاعتماد على هذه المحطة والتي استخدمتها منذ عام 1942, وذلك لتطور وسائل الاتصالات وتحول اثيوبيا الى النظام العسكري, وتكرار الهجمات من قبل المتمردين الارتيريين الراغبين في ايقاف التعاون العسكري الامريكي الاثيوبي, ترك انطباعا لدى الادارة الامريكية على اهمية القيام بإعادة تقييم سياسة الولايات المتحدة الامريكية في اثيوبيا بما فيها مدى اهمية استخدام محطة كاجنيو.
