Abstract

The study examines the spatial variation of the standard of living of the rural population of Salah al-Din Governorate for the year 2019 at the level of administrative units, and the results of the study of the standard of living were extracted according to the indicators of the fields of living standards, which are number (34) indicators that formed the evidence for the six areas of the standard of living (education, health, infrastructure, economic status of the family, housing And the perimeter of the dwelling) in addition to the general guide to the standard of living that represents the outcome of the six fields, and for the purpose of achieving the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was designed and distributed according to the population size of each administrative unit, and statistical methods were used, the most important of which was the spss program and the Excel program to analyze the relationships between the fields and the indicators spatially, In addition to extracting the triple classification for the families of the study area according to their standard of living. The study revealed that there is a discrepancy in the standard of living according to the administrative units of the countryside of the study area, as the percentage of deprived families reached 33%, while the proportion of self-sufficient families reached 43%, and the best cases were 24%. And the countryside of the Dhuluiya district and the countryside of Sulaiman sub-district, the highest deprivation percentage was (100, 64, 54, 45)%. As for the lowest deprivation percentage recorded in the countryside of the judiciary of Al-Alam and Amerli, the countryside of Yathrib district, and the countryside of the district of Tikrit at a rate of (12, 18, 20, 25)%, respectively, according to the general index of the standard of living. The economic family with a rate of 66%, and the infrastructure field occupied the second place with a rate of 53%, and then the field of housing perimeter by 41%, and the fields of education and health came in fourth place with a deprivation rate of 33% for both of them, as for the lowest deprivation percentage recorded in the housing field by a percentage It reached 16%.
