Willpower among Middle School Students
Main Article Content
Abstract
The primary objective of this study is to determine the extent to which middle school students engage in sensible utilization of Internet sites. Additionally, the study seeks to examine any statistically significant variations in the degree of smart Internet site use based on gender (male, female) and academic specialty (scientific, literary). The study sample included 528 male and female students from Middle School in Mosul for the academic year 2021/2022. The sample was selected using a random sampling method. The researchers constructed a metric to assess the prudent utilization of Internet platforms. Following rigorous statistical procedures and data examination, the researchers arrived at findings indicating that middle school students exhibit a moderate level of prudent Internet usage. Furthermore, no discernible disparities were observed in the prudent use of Internet sites based on gender (male and female) or academic specialization (scientific or literary).Based on the findings, the researchers have formulated several recommendations and proposals. These include the need to provide education to students regarding the prudent utilization of Internet platforms and the associated advantages, as this has a positive impact on students. Additionally, it is suggested that further investigation be conducted to explore the correlation between the judicious use of Internet sites and other variables, such as social intelligence and emotional equilibrium.
