The Role of the United States in the Migration of the Falasha Jews (Operation Sheba)

Abstract
The research aims to shed light on the role of the United States in the migration of the Falasha Jews (Operation Sheba), which was implemented in the last ten days of March 1985. In this process, the role of the United States of America emerged, through the support provided by the American administration through the pillars of its administration. The CIA prepared the operation in advance, by preparing the place for the launch of the operation, tracking the Ethiopian Falasha Jews, and collecting information about them in the refugee camps located in eastern Sudan, where the Ethiopian refugees, including the Falasha Jews, are present, in addition to using the air force that transported the Falasha Jews to Israel directly, as it imposed a cover of secrecy on the process, and did not make a statement about its course, in order to avoid a reaction by the Ethiopian government who rejected it.
