The use of dates in criticizing the stories of Islamic history

Abstract
Historical criticism is one of the necessary matters in our present time, because Islamic history books contain a lot of illusion, error, lying and fraud. Therefore, the critical historian has a huge and extremely important responsibility in criticizing historical narratives, scrutinizing them and purifying them from the impurities that are attached to them, by using methods, mechanisms and standards And the controls are to know whether it is correct or not, and among these methods is the use of (dates) to criticize historical narratives in order to arrive at the truth. The study showed the existence of professional liars behind the distortion of Islamic history, and the study confirmed that whoever confronts the process of historical criticism must have a number of conditions and qualities that qualify him to carry out this task, the study revealed the invalidity and falsehood of many historical narratives through dates as a criterion for historical criticism.
