الملخص
تكتسب دراسة تاريخ الجمعيات السياسية في السليمانية خلال المدة المحصورة بين الحربين العالميتين الاولى والثانية اهمية كبيرة ، بسبب دورها في تأسيس وبلورة الفكر القومي لدى الشعب الكردي .
يهدف هذا البحث الى تسليط الضوء على تلك الجمعيات التي برزت ونشطت في السليمانية خلال تلك المدة ، ودراسة الظروف التي نشئت فيها ، وشخوص مؤسسيها ، واهدافها ، فضلا عن تأثيرها في المجتمع الكردي .
توصل البحث الى جملة من الاستنتاجات المهمة ، يأتي في المقدمة منها ، اثر الاحتلال البريطاني الكبير على الواقع السياسي والفكري والثقافي في السليمانية ، وكان من نتائج ذلك ظهور البدايات الاولى لحركة الوعي القومي الكردية ، والتي تم التعبير عنها من خلال تأسيس عدد من الجمعيات السياسية في السليمانية ، التي تركز نشاطها في البداية على التنديد بالاحتلال البريطاني وسياسته ، ثم تطور نشاطها واهدافها للمطالبة بالحقوق القومية للكرد ، وحق تقرير المصير، فضلا عن الاهتمام بالثقافة واللغة الكردية .
كانت النتيجة المباشرة لهذا النشاط الذي قامت به تلك الجمعيات في السليمانية ، نجاحها في تهيئة البيئة المناسبة لبروز الحركة الثورية في السليمانية ، وكوردستان العراق بشكل عام ، بعد الحرب العالمية الثانية .
