Abstract

The situations witnessed by the Iraqis since the invasion of ISIS of some of the Iraqi cities and provinces and the accompanying military operations have forced many families to move from their areas of residence and search for safer and more stable areas.
The present study aims to identify the following:
1- Methods of thinking among displaced university students.
2- Methods of thinking among displaced university students by gender variable (Male - Female)
3- Methods of thinking among non-displaced university students.
4 - Identify the methods of thinking among the university students non-displaced by variable type (males - females)
To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher had to adopt a means to achieve his goals. The researcher relied on the Gregoric scale 1988. The scale consists of (15) positions. Each position includes four paragraphs and each paragraph measures one of the following methods of thinking. The scale was applied to a sample of (539) students: (366) displaced students and (173) non-displaced students. The study reached to discover the prevailing thinking among the displaced students which is the method of random abstract thinking and consecutive abstract and lastly was the method of consecutive physical thinking was another in the method of consecutive material thinking is the style of the non-displaced students.
