Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the moral disparities among a sample of undergraduate students based on their gender and area of expertise, as well as to detect psychological fragility in university students. The purpose of this study is to determine the moral distinctions of each gender and specialty variable among a sample of university students, as well as to discover psychological fragility and its link with self-esteem and certain qualities. Three hundred students of both sexes were included in the research sample. Since the scale had 32 items, the researcher created a psychological frailty scale. The scale's apparent honesty was verified by showing its paragraphs to a group of referees and calculating the discrimination and correlation coefficients for each paragraph. As a result, the scale's final form had 27 items, and its stability was determined using the re-test method (0.81) and the Cronbach alpha method, which came out to be 0.78. Following the collection of the information forms, the data were statistically processed using multiple regression analysis, Pearson's correlation coefficient, Zai's test, and the T-test for a sample. The study concludes: In comparison to their hypothetical average, university students exhibit psychological fragility; there is a correlation between the specialization variables (humanitarian, scientific) that favours humanity, and there are statistically significant differences between the gender variables (men and women) that favour men.
