Abstract

To study and understand the Prophet Muhammad's (peace and blessings be upon him) interactions with his wives, and the need to know and emulate his example, and to recognize the deterioration of marital relationships due to a lack of Prophetic guidance resulting from distancing oneself from the Holy Quran and the Prophetic methodology. This research consists of an introduction, three sections, and a conclusion containing findings and recommendations. The first section comprises three points: the first defines the terms in the research title, the second defines related terms, and the third introduces the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) wives. The second section examines the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) interactions with his wives related to calling people to Allah, and is divided into four points: the first addresses the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) teaching of religion to his wives and his companionship with them; the second addresses the wife's consultation; the third addresses the social role of Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) in supporting the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) during times of hardship and challenges; and the fourth addresses applications derived from the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) interactions with his wives related to upbringing. The third section examines the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) interactions with his wives related to good companionship and includes three demands: first, the Prophet’s justice between his wives; second, the Prophet’s wisdom in dealing with family problems; and third, the Prophet’s respect for his wives. The fourth demand includes educational applications derived from the Prophet’s attitudes towards his wives. Then, the research concludes with a summary of the most important results reached by the researchers and recommendations.
