Professional Competencies of Technical Supervisors from the Point of View of Managers in School Activity Department
Main Article Content
Abstract
The cognitive aspect is no longer the main goal that the educational institution seeks to achieve, but rather modern education, with its various methods, emphasizes the necessity of achieving the integrated growth of the learner's personality. The most important of these methods are extracurricular school activities, which are supervised by a group of technical supervisors, who must possess some competencies that help them achieve the set goals, so this study came to shed light on the most important professional competencies necessary to practice their supervisory profession, and the extent to which current supervisors possess these competencies, from the point of view of school activity department managers. The researcher relied on the descriptive approach, and built a questionnaire, distributed it to the study sample members. The study reaches the result that there is a difference in the technical supervisors' aspects of these professional competencies, despite the availability of the emotional aspect in acceptable and encouraging proportions. There is a noticeable decrease in the skill and productivity aspects, and a significant decline in the cognitive aspect.
