Abstract

       The research aimed to find out the effect of using Landa’s exploratory educational model on acquiring the concepts of intonation rulings among sixth-graders preparatory school students. The researcher used the semi-experimental method. The sample of the research was consisted of 79 students, who were divided into two groups. The experimental group studied the subject of intonation rulings using Land’s exploratory model. The  educational group, numbering 40 students, while the control group studied the same subject using the usual method, numbering 39 students. After ensuring that the two research groups were equal, the researcher applied Land’s educational exploratory model to the experimental group, and after completing the experiment, the achievement test was applied to measure the acquisition of the concepts of intonation rules among the sixth-graders.


  The results of the research showed that there were statistically significant differences between the two research groups in acquiring the concepts of intonation provisions, and they were in favor of the experimental group,
