Abstract

The current research aimed to identify the level of cognitive fatigue among university students according to the gender variable (male and female) and according to the specialization variable (scientific - human). The sample consists of 3929 male and female students in Al-Iraqia University. In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher adopted the Cognitive Fatigue Scale (Penner, Atel 2005). The scale contained in its initial form 20 items, and after extracting the psychometric characteristics of the scale, the scale in its final form became 20 items. The final results of the study showed that they do not have a level of cognitive fatigue, and there are no differences in the level of cognitive fatigue between the sexes, and there are no differences in cognitive fatigue between the scientific and human disciplines.
