The Impact of the Differentiated Education Strategy in Artistic Appreciation on the Achievement of Students of Art Education Department

Abstract
The present study aims to examine the influence of a differentiated education strategy on students of the Department of Art Education and its offerings in the field of Art Appreciation. The researcher employed an experimental design, specifically utilizing a two-group design with partial control over certain variables and a post-test. Additionally, the researcher deliberately selected the research sample from first-stage students. The experimental group that underwent the study was selected through a simple random drawing in Hall (3) of the Department of Art Education, which is part of the College of Basic Education at Al-Mustansiriya University. Based on the differentiated education strategy, the study involved two groups: one consisting of 30 male and female students, and the other serving as the control group, also consisting of 30 male and female students. The research instrument used to assess the student's achievement was an artistic appreciation test in the subject area. In preparation for the experiment, the researcher developed a total of 18 teaching plans. These plans were divided equally, with 9 plans designated for the students in the experimental group and 9 plans for the students in the control group.
