The Effect of the Bransford Washatayin Sample on Developing Reading Comprehension for Fifth-grade Pupils in Primary Schools

Abstract
The research aims to identify the effect of the Bansford Washatayin sample on developing reading comprehension for fifth-grade pupils in primary schools, and to achieve research objective, the researcher formulated the following zero hypothesis:
- There is no statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of students of the experimental group who are studying reading subject according to the sample of Bransford Washatayin and the average scores of students of the control group who study the same subject according to the traditional method of reading comprehension test. The researcher adopted an experimental approach with partial control, and in a random way, the researcher selected the research sample from one of Baghdad education schools Rusafa / 2, as the total number of students of the two groups reached (85) students, (42) students in the experimental group and (43) in the control group, and the researcher compared between the two research groups in the variables of chronological age, the academic achievement of parents, and the scores of the Arabic language subject for the previous year, and the researcher formulated the objects in light of the content of the book, After analyzing the results, the researcher reached the following: There is a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of students of the experimental group who study reading subject according to the sample of Bransford Washatayin and the average scores of students of the control group who study the same subject according to the traditional method of reading comprehension test.
