الملخص
يدرُس البحث ألواحا فخارية غير منشورة من المتحف العراقي تعود بتاريخها إلى العصر البابلي القديم، وهي أربعة ألواح، إذ تناولت مشاهد دينية بحتة مع اختلاف المضمون، تمثل اللوح الأول امرأة عارية متعبدة، واللوح الثاني الآلهة أنثوية (الداعية)، واللوح الثالث يدل على رجل متعبد أما اللوح الرابع فان المشهد يدل على رجل يقدم القرابين.
تعد هذه الألواح نوعا من ضروب الفن، يضم في ثناياه مفاهيم وعقائد تحلى بها سكان بلاد الرافدين ولاسيما أن الغاية من صناعتها لم تكن غاية جمالية مثلما هي لدينا في الوقت الحاضر من امتلاك قطع فنية، بل كان الوازع الاساسي في اقتنائها هو أشبه بالتميمة أو الحرز الذي يمنح الفرد نوعاً من الطمأنينة والراحة النفسية من وجهة نظر مالكها.
