الملخص
تعد المنتجات الحيوانية من أهم أساسيات الانتاج الزراعي ,حيث يتم الاعتماد عليها بشكل كبير في سد احتياجات السكان الغذائية بالدرجة الأولي و بعدها في تلبية احتياجاتهم الأخرى ,مثل استخدامهم كمادة أولية في بعض الصناعات الضرورية كصناعة الجلود و الملابس. و لهذا فقد حظيت الدراسات الخاصة بالثروة الحيوانية و توزيعها و تباينها مكانيا اهتمامات معظم الباحثين في مختلف المجالات .يهدف البحث الي دراسة التباين المكاني للثروة الحيوانية وبوجه الخصوص حيوانات الماشية (الاغنام والابقار والماعز ) في محافظة اربيل ,و قد اتخذت الدراسة تباين العوامل الطبيعية والبشرية بين مختلف الاقضية التابعة لهذه المحافظة كأساس للتباين المكاني فيها حيث تعتبر الثروة الحيوانية من الموارد المرتبط وجودها المكاني بظواهر جغرافية معينة ,و قد حاول البحث اثبات صحة ذلك من خلال الاعتماد علي بيانات اظهرت توزيع الماشية في منطقة الدراسة .يتضمن البحث اربعة مباحث رئيسية بالإضافة الي النتائج والتوصيات. يدرس المبحث الاول التعريف بمنطقة الدراسة وخصائصها الجغرافية اما المبحث الثاني فيركز غلي مصادر الغذاء للماشية في المحافظة, اما بالنسبة للمبحث الثالث فيدرس واقع التوزيع الجغرافي للماشية في المحافظة وتباينها مكانيا، أما المبحث الرابع فيركز علي ابرز المشاكل التي تعاني منها الماشية في المحافظة وكيفية علاجها.
