الامتدادات الجغرافية للربط السككي بين العراق وسورية وأثره في التنمية الحضرية المستدامة

الملخص
تعد شبكة خطوط النقل الحديدية أحد الشرايين الأساسية والحيوية لربط الدولة بجوارها الخارجي، وتوفير مقومات الاتصال وتحقيق التعاون والتكامل، ونظراً لما تتمتع به دولتي العراق وسورية من موقع استراتيجي وجيوستراتيجي بين الشرق والغرب، والذي يمكّنهما من استخدامه كعقدة نقل وتجارة ومصدر أساسي للدخل القومي، كما إنه يسهم في زيادة معدلات الإنتاج وتطوير جميع القطاعات الاقتصادية (الصناعية والسياحية والزراعية والتجارية) ورفع مستوى رفاهية المجتمع.
يهدف هذا البحث إلى توضيح أهمية موقع البلدين، وواقع الربط السككي المقترح بين العراق وسورية من خلال الاستفادة من الإمكانات الجغرافية لكلا البلدين وتحديد المسار الأفضل لهذا الخط، مع توضيح أثر هذا الربط السككي بين العراق وسورية في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة لكليهما. تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي والاتجاه الإقليمي والأسلوب الكارتوغرافي باعتماد مجموعة برامج لرسم الخرائط كـ (Arc View GIS10.3 & Offlinemaps) والأسلوب الكمي.
إن الربط السككي بين العراق وسورية سيكون له دور محوري في تشكيل المناطق الحضرية والتماسك الإقليمي، وسيسهم في تنشيط المراكز الحضرية الموجودة لأنها في باديتي الدولتين المخلخلتين بالسكان (المناطق الرخوة)، وحتى في إحداث مراكز حضرية جديدة بما يراعي تحقيق التنمية المستدامة، فيسهم في مستقبل حضري مستدام، فضلا عن فوائده السياسية في تحقيق النفع لدول آسيا من جهة مع أوربا من جهة أخرى، فتنشط الحركة التجارية للبضائع بكميات كبيرة وبأقل التكاليف، وحتى نقل الركاب.
