الملخص
اهتم هذا البحث بدراسة دور الدكتور توفيق رشدي آراس في الحركة الوطنية التركية التي إندلعت في الأناضول بزعامة مصطفى كمال أتاتورك 1919_1923م، من خلال مشاركة توفيق رشدي آراس في حرب الإستقلال، ولاسيما بعد احتلال جيوش دول الوفاق الودي لأراضي الدولة العثمانية، كما تطرق البحث إلى دور الدكتور توفيق رشدي آراس السياسي في الجانب التشريعي من خلال عضويته في المجلس الوطني التركي الكبير، وكذلك الجانب التنفيذي في حكومة المجلس الوطني التركي الكبير، فضلاً عن مساهمته في تأسيس الحزب الشيوعي التركي عام 1920م، وتكليفه من مصطفى كمال أتاتورك للسفر مع وفد الحركة الوطنية التركية إلى الإتحاد السوفيتي لغرض تعزيز وتوطيد العلاقات السياسية بين حكومة المجلس الوطني التركي الكبير في أنقرة من جهة والإتحاد السوفيتي من جهة أُخرى.
