الملخص
تتمثل هذه الدراسة في اظهار أهمية الموقع الاستراتيجي لبلدية القبة، نظراً لافتقار منطقة الدراسة للدراسات العلمية التي تظهر أهمية موقعها ومواردها التي تعطيها أهمية كبيره، وإذا ما نظرنا إلى مقوماتها سنجدها تفتقر إلى القوة البشرية الكافية مقارنة بالبلديات التي تجاورها في إقليمها المتمثل في الجبل الأخضر، الا أن موقعها الجغرافي جعلها ذات أهمية محورية يمكن استغلالها من ناحية اقتصادية وسياحية وعسكرية، وفي هذه الدراسة تم الاستعانة ببرنامج نظم المعلومات الجغرافية (Geographic Information Systems) والذي يرمز له (GIS)، فضلا عن نموذج الارتفاعات الرقمية (Digital Elevation Model) والمعروف علمياً باختصار (DEM)، كذلك استعان الباحث ببرنامج التحليل الاحصائي (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) لإجراء بعض العمليات الحسابية والإحصائية.
