موقف الولايات المتحدة من لاجئي اثيوبيا 1981-1984

الملخص
يهدف البحث الى تسليط الضوء على موقف الولايات المتحدة الامريكية من لاجئ اثيوبيا 1981-1985, فقد بدأت الهجرة الاثيوبية تجاه الولايات المتحدة الامريكية منذ عام 1980, بعد ان فتح الكونغرس الامريكي الباب امام اللاجئين الاثيوبيين. كذلك ابقت وزارة الخارجية الامريكية خمسة عشر الف من الاثيوبيين في الولايات المتحدة, عقب سلسلة من القرارات في مجلسي النواب والشيوخ الامريكي, بينما شكل اللاجئون الاثيوبيون ما يقرب (85%) من المهاجرين الأفارقة, لاستمرار الحكومة الاثيوبية بانتهاك حقوق الانسان. كذلك قدمت الولايات المتحدة المساعدات للسودان لاستيعاب اللاجئين الاثيوبيين كاستجابة طارئة للوضع الناتج عن تدفق المهاجرين.
