الملخص

 تشكل قضية استقلال المغرب الأقصى واحدة من أبرز القضايا التي أولتها المملكة العربية السعودية اهتماماً خاصاً الى جانب قضايا المغرب العربي الأخرى، انطلاقاً من المكانة العربية والدولية التي كانت تحظى بها خلال تلك المدة.


     يتناول البحث الدعم السياسي والمادي الذي قدمته المملكة العربية السعــودية لتلك القضية في المحافل العربية والدولية، إذ ساهمت المملكة العربية السـعودية مع الدول العربية والإسلامية في دعم قضية استقلال المغرب الاقصى في جامعة الدول العربية وهيئة الأمم المتحدة، والتعريف بها حتى حصول المغرب على الاستقلال عام 1956. فضلاً عن تبني السعودية لتلك القضية ضمن إطار علاقاتها مع الدول الكبرى لا سـيما مع الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، التي عكست مدى الجدية في دعم النضال المغربي ضد الاستعمار الفرنسي والاسباني.
