The Impact of the Karplus Model on Acquiring Philosophical Concepts Among Fifth-Grade Literary Female Students in Philosophy and Psychology and Developing Their Analytical Thinking

Abstract
The current study aims to identify the effect of the Karplus model on
acquiring philosophical concepts among fifth‑grade literary students in the subject of Philosophy and Psychology and on developing their analytical thinking. To verify this objective, the researcher formulated the following two null hypotheses.
Methodology
- To achieve the objective, the researcher employed a partially‑controlled experimental design.
- The study population consisted of fifth‑grade literary students in daytime public secondary schools under the General Directorate of Education of Salah Al‑Din / Yathrib for the academic year 2023‑2024.
- Al‑Ramah Al‑Awali Girls’ School was purposively selected to provide the study sample. The fifth‑grade literary class was then randomly chosen to serve as the experimental group, while Yathrib Girls’ Secondary School represented the control group.
- The total sample size was 86 students: 42 in the experimental group and 44 in the control group.
