Abstract

This research aims to identify the effect of information processing strategy on developing systematic thinking among second-grade intermediate female students in geography. The researcher used an experimental design with equal groups for a pre-test and a post-test. The research sample consisted of 65 female students, distributed into two classes that represented the two research groups: Class A (33) students served as the experimental group, and Class B (32) students served as the control group. A number of relevant variables were rewarded between the two study groups, and a systemic thinking test was prepared, consisting of 20 paragraphs. Each skill was divided into six paragraphs, with four options in each paragraph. The experiment was conducted twice per week for the two research groups. The researcher applied the research tools to both groups, and the results indicated the validity of the hypotheses developed by the researcher to complete the research procedures. The researcher presented a number of recommendations and suggestions.
