Psychological Presence among University Students

Abstract
This study aims at studying the level of psychological presence among university students according to the gender variable (males, females) and the level of psychological presence among university students according to the specialization variable (scientific, humanities). The research community consisted of university students. A random sample of (300) male and female students was chosen. To achieve the objectives of the research, a psychological presence scale consisting of (48) paragraphs was constructed. The researcher extracted the psychometric properties such as validity and reliability of the scale, where the stability coefficient of the psychological presence scale reached a stability coefficient by the retest method (0.85). The study reached a set of results, the most prominent of which is that university students enjoy good psychological presence. The result also indicated that there is no difference between males and females in psychological presence, and it also showed a statistically significant difference in favor of the scientific specialization
