النشاط الاقتصادي للجالية الفرنسية في ولاية حلب في القرن التاسع عشر الميلادي

الملخص
عدت الجالية الفرنسية في ولاية حلب من اهم الجاليات الاوربية التي ادت دورا نشيطا في المجالات الاقتصادية كافة التجارية ، الزراعية ، والصناعية، ولاسيما انها كانت من بين الجاليات التي قدمت الى الولاية في ظل التقارب العثماني الفرنسي اثر الجهود المبذولة من السلطان العثماني سليمان القانوني (١٥٢٠_ ١٥٦٦ ) والملك الفرنسي فرانسوا الاول ( Francois1) (١٥١٥_١٥٤٧) ، الذي منحها الحرية التامة في ممارسة نشاطها الاقتصادي، فضلا عن الاستقرار في الولاية .
عاشت الجالية بعد تلك التطورات مرحلة نمو اقتصادي، اذ اصبح لها مكانة تجارية رفيعة ادت الى نتائج اقتصادية ملموسة للدولتين العثمانية - الفرنسية، ولاسيما ان ولاية حلب امتلكت من المقومات الطبيعية والبشرية ما جعلها الولاية الثالثة من بين الولايات العثمانية في مكانتها الاقتصادية بعد استانبول وازمير.
إن موضوع نشاط الجالية الفرنسية الاقتصادي في ولاية حلب في القرن التاسع عشر الميلادي اهميته، اذ يمكن عن طريقه معرفة الدور الاقتصادي الذي ادته تلك الجالية واثره في حياة المجتمع، ويبين الاسباب الحقيقة التي مكنت تلك الجالية من التوسع في انشطتها في ظل ما منحت من امتيازات من الدولة العثمانية، فضلا عن السياسة التي اتبعتها الجالية من اجل الحصول على مكاسب كبيرة جعلتها الجالية الاكثر نشاطا اذا ما قورنت بباقي الجاليات الاجنبية.
