Economic Activity of French Community in Aleppo during the Nineteenth Century AD

Abstract
This research tackles the exploration of the economic activities of French community in Aleppo during the nineteenth century. It provides insights into the economic contributions of this community and its influence on societal dynamics. Furthermore, it elucidates the underlying factors that facilitated the expansion of its activities, particularly in the context of the privileges conferred by the Ottoman state. Additionally, it examines the strategic policies employed by the community to secure substantial gains, positioning it as the most dynamic entity in comparison to other foreign communities.
