Characteristics of Spontaneous Expression in Children’s Drawings and their Representations in the Productions of Students of Art Education

Abstract
Children's arts and their spontaneous productions have occupied a prominent position in constructing the cultural and humanitarian discourse of societies, as this type of arts and its roots are one of the basic pillars through which the crystallization of cultural awareness in societies is evidenced in a way that serves human development. The current research included the research problem, which is based on the following question: Do children have spontaneous expressive traits? It also included the importance of the research and the goal of the research through identifying the features of spontaneous expression in children’s drawings. The research ended with the limits of the research and definition of terminology. The second chapter included the theoretical framework, in which we touched on the features of expression in children, children’s drawings, and spontaneity in children, and ended with indicators of the theoretical framework. The third chapter included the research procedures and methodology, and the fourth chapter included the most important results reached by the researcher, which were as follows:
1- Paragraph (1) received a percentage of (66.66%), as it appears in samples (1) and (2), while it does not appear, obtaining a percentage of 33.33% in sample (3).
2-Paragraph (2) occurred at a rate of (100%), as it appeared in all samples.
The conclusion is:
Developing the child’s sensory and emotional awareness towards art helps develop his ability to appreciate and express the beauty of his surroundings, and this is what the fields of art education should focus on.
