Main Article Content
Abstract
Child labor is one of the global phenomena whose spread has been linked to economic, social and political factors, so it is difficult to eradicate it once and for all, but this happens gradually by addressing all the causes that cause this phenomenon, and not to ignore it and consider it to be a current problem and in the future to reduce them and reach satisfactory results because children are the generation of tomorrow, caring for them and preparing them to bear the burdens of life represent the foundations of comprehensive development and its requirements. So childhood care is not unique to it without another country, whether developed or developing, and the degree of interest varied between countries. The right of children is a right guaranteed by the heavenly laws, international agreements and local legislations that aim to protect and care for the child at this stage in which his body is formed and built and build awareness and personality and protection to be able to assume his responsibilities towards his community. The study aims at identifying the phenomenon of child labor within the age of ( 5-14) years in the city of Medhatia and to identify its causes, castration and effects arising from it, and how to address this phenomenon by highlighting its study, as it is a phenomenon that is moving in the city with a size, characteristics and dimensions that cannot be neglected.
