The Manifestations of Bedouinism and Civilization in the Praises of Ibn Darraj al- Qastali

Abstract
This paper aims at tracing the aspects of both Bedouinism and civilization and their manifestations in the praises of Ibn Darraj al-Qastal. It is presented with an introduction, two sections, and a conclusion. The introduction deals with identifying the poet, the purposes of his poetry, and the characteristics of his praise. The first section deals with the manifestations of Bedouinism in the praise of Ibn Darraj al-Qastal in terms of artistic construction and material and moral manifestations. The second section deals with the manifestations of civilization in terms of artistic construction and aspects of civilization and its impact on the construction of Ibn Darraj’s poem. Then, the conclusion sums upthe prominent findings of the paper, in addation to a list of sources and references which are adopted by the researcher in his search.
