Main Article Content
Abstract
The investigation into the issue of food production has garnered significant attention from researchers and experts. The urgency to provide sustenance for the population has underscored the importance of food as a vital necessity. Consequently, this study primarily aims to examine and analyze the spatial and temporal fluctuations in the quantities of plant-based food production, as well as its annual growth rates, specifically at the crop level within Kirkuk Governorate's administrative units. The study adopts an inductive approach, relying on the extrapolation of geographical data and the collection of diverse information from various sources and field studies. Additionally, an analytical approach is employed. The second aspect of the study focuses on assessing the current state of plant-based food production, including the annual growth rate and duration of production.
