Abstract
This research came to indicate the method of weighting between the conflicting texts, and to formulate them in the form of rules in each of the three methods of repelling the contradiction: plural, copying, and weighting.
The research included two sections: the first section defined the contradiction and methods of repelling the contradiction between the legal evidence. The second section handles the approach of Imam Abdullah bin Salem Al-Basri in repelling the contradiction by the weighting method that he used, may Allah have mercy upon him, and his work as a first step to remove the contradiction, combining them as possible, and he agrees with that. The public presents the plural, then the abrogation, then the weighting, and among the methods of weighting used by the scholar Al-Basri, may Allah have mercy on him: A- Weighting in consideration of the text. B _ weighting related to the consideration of the bond. C - Weighting rules in view of external matters.
