The patterns of cognitive preferences for the students of college of education in the light of some variables

Abstract
This paper aims to know the patterns of the cognitive preferences for the students (college of education) according to gender (male/female) and their field of study (scientific, humanities). The sample of research is (304) students from College of Faculty of Education of pure Science and College of Education of Human Sciences (4th grad) for the year (2020_2021). The number of students was (172 male ) and ( 132 female ) from four departments. ( 156)Students from two Scientific Department (Biology, Physics) and (148) Students from the humanitarian departments ( Arabic languages, History) were chosen randomly according to class sample variables depending on sex and scientific speciality. To achieve the research goal, the two researchers measured the Patterns of cognitive preferences from her preparation as final as from (14) situations within four sub-measures representing the four cognitive preferences: Application type, Recall, Principles and Critical. The entire section was (56) and the scale was honest and consistent. The two researchers, then applied the tool on the sample of members of the search for the period from (10/1/2021) until (15/1/2021). Finally, the two researchers analyzed the data using the percentage and Kay square test. The two researchers had reached the following results;
1-Preferring the whole research sample was in order from (Recal) as the first rank than ( Application type) in the second rank whereas ( Principles) Pattern comes in the third rank and finally the(Critical) Pattern comes in the four the rank.
2-There is no statistically significant correlation at the level of indication (0,05)between the cognitive preferences of the search sample for the members of the search according to sex variables and speciality.
In the light of the results, the researchers had a number of conclusions and introduced several recommendations for the authorities besides their suggestion of a number of titles for future studies.
