Abstract

The aim of this research is to study the geomorphological effects of the Pleistocene climate in the flood plain and their impact on human activity in the study area and knowing the impact on human activity in the study area. Applied studies in the field of geomorphology are interested to know the mechanism of formation of earth forms and Varity of ground process. The ground processes contains the morphological processes, hydrology and hydrophomtric applications In addition to the discovery of natural resources and identify the most prominent ways of investment or maintenance and benefit from them. Pleistocene-Holocene deposits appear in the study area which is located in Anbar province in western Iraq and extends between Heet and Fallujah city. Meanwhile Structural tectonic and rock characteristics exposed in the flood plain played an important role in controlling the development of terrestrial forms. The earth forms have a reflection on the lands of the flood plain and their uses.
