Main Article Content
Abstract
The research includes the study of the Mekani contrast, not the production of vegetables protected in the terms of Al -Abbasi, which is considered one of the most important areas in which the cultivation of vegetables in protected conditions in Kirkuk Governorate has the natural and human capabilities that can be exploited in agriculture and this type It is a basic food item as well as the economic benefit that farmers derive from selling their vegetables. Several types of vegetable crops are grown in the study area under protected conditions, which are (tomatoes, cucumbers, okra, eggplant, and trees). In terms of the type of crop, the cultivated area and the quantity of production, it was found that the number of plastic tunnels that are planted With vegetables in al-Abbasi district (194940) tunnels distributed over all provinces of the study area except for 20 bridges. (a tunnel, which constitutes (26.9%) of the total number, and the okra crop came in third place after expenditure, with (42,180) tunnels, i.e. its proportion (21063%) of the total number. (10.68%), and the tree crop came last, with (10,680) tunnels, at a rate of (5.47%), as it is possible to exploit this type of agriculture to provide many basic vegetable products and stop studying them through the cultivation of crops. Providing the appropriate conditions and needs through which farmers can increase the area and production and improve their economic condition.
