الملخص
تعد الموارد المائية ذات أهمية كبيرة في حياة الإنسان والكائنات الحية الاخرى، فهي تعد الأساس الذي ترتكز عليه الحياة والمنطلق الذي يمكن من خلاله الوصول الى مصاف الدول الاقتصادية العظيمة والرقي الحضاري. من هنا جاء الاهتمام بدراسة الأحواض المائية الموسمية الجريان التي أصبحت جزءا لايتجزأ من الموارد المائية الدائمية الجريان لاسيما المناطق الجافّه وشبه الجافّه التي يكون تساقط الأمطار فيها موسمياً من اجل تطبيق تقانات الحصاد المائي .وتكمن الدراسة الحالية في الدراسة الهيدرولوجية السطحية لحوض وادي اللينة الواقع في محافظة صلاح الدين قضاء الشرقاط والتعرف على دلالاته الهيدرولوجية, لأنه يعتبر من الأودية الموسمية التي يفيض ماءها في فصل الشتاء ويجف في فصل الصيف وما إلى هذا الوادي من أبعاد تنموية ذات أهمية كبرى في تلك المنطقة حيث تتمثل هذه الاهمية في كون تلك المنطقة تحتوي على مناطق سكنية يمكن أن يعد مصدراً مائياً يساعد في احياء تلك المنطقة كما ان المنطقة تحتوي على أراضي زراعية ذات مساحات شاسعة يمكن الاستفادة منها في مجال زراعتها واستثمارها من خلال إنشاء أي منشأ هيدروليكي يتمثل في إقامة سد في تلك المنطقة من أجل الحصول على تنمية متكاملة للموارد المائية في بلدنا.
