التنقيبات الأثرية في مدينة تكريت (1936- 1980) دراسة تاريخية في النشأة والتطور والنتائج

الملخص
تتناول هذه الدراسة التاريخية التنقيبات الأثرية في مدينة تكريت (1936–1980م): دراسة تاريخية في النشأة والتطور والنتائج، متتبعاً بدايات النشاط الأثري في المدينة وتطوره، ودور مديرية الآثار العامة العراقية في أعمال المسح والتحري والتنقيب عن المواقع الأثرية والتاريخية والمحافظة عليها من التخريب, وتركز الدراسة على أهم مراحل النشاط الآثاري، وما تضمنته من إجراءات وصعوبات، فضلاً عن أهم المواقع التي شملتها أعمال التنقيب والصيانة، ولا سيما تل محيسن, وقلعة تكريت وسور المدينة القديمة, فضلاً عن البحث في النتائج التي أسفرت عنها التنقيبات, وما قدمته من شواهد مادية أسهمت في الكشف عن جوانب مهمة من تاريخ تكريت وتطورها العمراني والحضاري، ولا سيما خلال العصور الإسلامية, ويخلص البحث إلى أن النشاط الأثري خلال المدة المدروسة أسهم في توثيق جانب مهم من تاريخ المدينة، وأكد مكانتها الحضارية وأهمية مواقعها الأثرية في دراسة تاريخ العراق.
