الملخص
انطلاقاً من اعتزازنا بالموروث الحضاري في تصاميم الأقمشة العراقية المعاصرة ونظراً لما يتعرض له مجتمعنا من غزو فكري وحضاري من ناحية وإغراق أسواقنا التجارية بالبضائع الأجنبية التي تحمل مفاهيم غربية، فقد جاء هذا البحث كمساهمة علمية لدراسة الجمالية التي تهتم بتصاميم الأقمشة الآشورية من هنا جاءت مشكلة البحث، أما أهمية البحث فقد جاءت في كونه سيسهم باستثمار التصاميم الآشورية بما يلائم تصاميم الأقمشة المعاصرة، أما هدف البحث فهو التعرف على القيم الجمالية لتصاميم الأقمشة الآشورية، وقد حدد البحث على دراسة القيم الجمالية لتصاميم العصر الآشوري للفترة (14-7) ق.م هذا ما جاء في الفصل الأول، أما الفصل الثاني فقد احتوى على ثلاث مباحث, أما في الفصل الثالث فقد اعتمدت الباحثة في إجراءاتها على الخبراء والمختصين في مجال الفن ومناهج البحث وقد اتخذ البحث ضمن منهج الوصفي / التحليلي وتم تحليل العينة المستنبطة من موروث حضارتنا العراقية القديمة والتي كان عددها (6) نماذج تم من خلالها الوصول إلى نتائج البحث.
