الملخص
يكشف هذا البحث معرفة واقع توزيع السكان وكثافتهم في محافظة صلاح الدين من خلال عرض تحليلي وموضوعي لطبيعة ونمط ذلك التوزيع في حضر وريف المحافظة وبيان جملة العوامل الجغرافية المؤثرة فيه سواء كانت الطبيعية منها ام البشرية, والذي يسعى البحث الى تناولها وتحديد مستويات تأثيرها على تباين التوزيع الجغرافي لسكانها من وجهة نظر ديموغرافية وبيئية مختلفة.
وتهتم دراسته في عرض صورة واضحة عن تقييم الابعاد والاتجاهات الحالية والمستقبلية لتوزيع السكان وأنماطه المختلفة بين الوحدات الادارية لمنطقة الدراسة وفقاً لأوجه العلاقات السكانية المساحية فيها ومقدار أثر الارتباط القائم بينها, ومدى انعكاسه على تباينه المكاني بعامة وحجم المعوقات التي تواجه سبيل توزيعه على مساحتها الجغرافية بنحو خاص, وبالتالي إمكانية وضع الحلول والمعالجات المناسبة له, هذا وقد خلص البحث في مخرج معطياته ونتائجه المتحققة الى وجود حالة من الاختلال والتباين في توزيع سكان منطقة الدراسة طبقاً لأهمية الموقع ونمط التركز السكاني فيها, فضلاً عن شكل التوزيع غير المتوازن في بعض مناطق واجزاء اخرى منها, والتي تعود اساساً الى وجود قصور لدى المعنيين في التخطيط السكاني والبيئي فيها على مستوى توزيع السكان في الحضر والريف, الى جانب تلك العوامل الجغرافية المؤشرة آنفاً, والتي رسمت بمجموعها ملامح التوزيع الفعلي للسكان وكثافته في المحافظة.
