الملخص
تلعب المشروعات الصغيرة والمتوسطة دوراً حاسماً في الـشأن الاقتـصادي الإجمـالي لاقليم كوردستان نظـراً للإمكانيات البشرية والمادية المتوافرة والناتجة عن تراكم تاريخي في مجال الإبـداع والابتكـار وفـي المجال الحرفي والخدمي والذي يمارسه الأفراد أو الأسر في المدن والريف اقليم كوردستان، والتـي تركـت بصماتها في الكثير من الصناعات التي اشتهرت عبر التاريخ وما زالت تنمو وتتطور في وقتنا حاضر.وعلى هذا النحو تناولنا في بحثنا موضوع (دور الصناعات الصغيرة والمتوسطة في تحقيق التنمية الاقتصادية في إقليم كوردستان العراق)، وقد كان الهدف من وراء البحث هو الوقوف على واقع المشروعات الصغيرة والمتوسطة في إقليم كوردستان العراق ومعرفة دورها في تحقيق الأهداف المنشودة في التنمية الاقتصادية. ولأجل الوصول الى هدف الدراسة فقد قسمنا دراستنا الى ثلاثة محاور؛ تناول المحور الأول مفهوم المشروعات الصغيرة والمتوسطة والخصائص التي تمتاز بها وأهميتها, فيما تناول المحور الثاني واقع الصناعات الصغيرة والمتوسطة في إقليم كوردستان العراق, أما المحورالثالث فقد تناولنا فيه أهم المشاكل التى تواجه الصناعات الصغيرة والمتوسطة في إقليم كوردستان العراق, واختتم البحث بجملة من الاستنتاجات والتوصيات.
