الملخص
شكلت العلاقات المغربية - العثمانية مجال بحث للدراسات التاريخية نظراً لأهميتها في العلاقات بين المشرق والمغرب في ظل التواصل الحضاري بين المنطقتين ، زيادة على اعتبارات أخرى ، تتمثل في أن الدولة العثمانية كانت تعتقد أنها الزعيمة الرئيسية للعالم الإسلامي تحميه من الأخطار الأجنبية، علاوة على ذلك فقد استطاعت أن تبسط نفوذها على العديد من المناطق مشرقا ومغربا ، إلا أن المغرب الأقصى اعتبر نفسه كيانا منفردة ومستقلا عن السلطة العثمانية، لذلك اقتضت طبيعة البحث تقسيمه الى مبحثين ، تناول الباحث في المبحث الأول الأوضاع العامة المغربية السياسية والاقتصادية والأوضاع للدولة العثمانية ، إما المبحث الثاني تناول فيه الباحث العلاقات السياسية بين الدولتين المغربية والعثمانية ، والعلاقات الدبلوماسية بين الطرفين.
