الملخص

يهدف البحث الحالي إلى معرفة مستوى السعة العقلية، ومعرفة مستوى تنظيم الذات المعرفي، ومعرفة دلالة الفروق في مستوى السعة العقلية وتنظيم الذات المعرفي لدى تدريسي المرحلة الإعدادية في مدارس مركز محافظة دهوك، ولتحقيق هذهِ الأهداف قام الباحثون بتبني اختبار اشكال السعة العقلية المعد من قبل باسكال ليون (1970)، المؤلف من (38) شكلا هندسيا، وبناء مقياس لتنظيم الذات المعرفي المؤلف من (43) فقرة ذات خمسة بدائل هي (دائماً، غالباً احياناً نادراً، ابداً)، وبعد ان اصبح الاختبار والمقياس جاهزين بالصيغة النهائية وذات خصائص سايكومترية مناسبة، تم تطبيقهِ على عينة متكونة من (850) من تدريسيي مدارس المرحلة الإعدادية في مركز لاستخراج نتائج الدراسة، ولمعالجة البيانات إحصائياً واستخراج النتائج، تم استخدام الوسائل الإحصائية الآتية  (معامل ارتباط بيرسون، الاختبار التائي t- test لعينة واحدة، الاختبار التائي t- test  لعينتين مستقلتين، الاختبار التائي لدلالة معامل الارتباط، الاختبار الزائي للفرق بين معاملي الارتباط)، وقد تم الاعتماد على الحقيبة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية (SPSS) لاستخدام تلك الوسائل وقد توصلت الدراسة الى النتائج الاتية: هناك مستوى أكثر من الوسط من السعة العقلية لدى تدريسي مدارس المرحلة الإعدادية في مركز محافظة دهوك. هناك مستوى أكثر من الوسط من تنظيم الذات المعرفي لدى تدريسي مدارس المرحلة الإعدادية في مركز محافظة دهوك. وجود علاقة ارتباطية دالة بين السعة العقلية وتنظيم الذات المعرفي، وفي ضوء نتائج البحث توصل الباحثون إلى عدد من الاستنتاجات والتوصيات والمقترحات اللازمة للجهات ذات العلاقة بموضوع الدراسة.
