الملخص
يساهم الانتاج الحيواني بأنواعه مساهمة فعالة في توفير الموارد الغذائية اللازمة للإنسان, و لهذا فقد حظيت الدراسات الخاصة بالثروة الحيوانية و توزيعها و تباينها مكانيا اهتمامات معظم الباحثين في مختلف المجالات. يهدف البحث إلي ابراز أهم مشاكل البيئة الطبيعية التي تعاني منها الثروة الحيوانية في منطقة الدراسة والتي برزت من خلال صورة التباين المكاني لها في محافظة اربيل وبوجه الخصوص حيوانات الماشية (الاغنام والابقار والماعز ), و قد اعتمدت الدراسة على تباين العوامل الطبيعية بين مختلف الاقضية التابعة لهذه المحافظة كأساس للتباين المكاني فيها اضافة الي العوامل البشرية. حيث تعتبر الثروة الحيوانية من الموارد المرتبط وجودها المكاني بظواهر جغرافية معينة ,و قد حاول البحث اثبات صحة ذلك من خلال الاعتماد على بيانات اظهرت توزيع الماشية في منطقة الدراسة
