الملخص
يقوم البحث بدراسة التحليل النفسي في قصائد الشاعر ستانلي كونتز. ويعالج على وجه الخصوص موضوع معالجة الالم وجروح الماضي. كونتز عانى من طفولة مضطربة بسبب انتحار والده بأسابيع قليلة قبل ولادته بسبب الافلاس. هذا الحدث كان نقلة جوهرية سببت مشكلة نفسية للشاعر والتي كانت مسؤولة عن تكوين شخصيته الممزقة. كونتز كان غير واعي لألمه تماما لأن هذا الالم كان مخزونا بالعقل اللاواعي الذي يعتبر المخزن الرئيسي للرغبات المقموعة و الالم المخفي والرغبات المظلمة لتظهر مرة اخرى وتلازمه في مرحلة النضج. شجاعة كونتز تكمن في مواجهة المه والعودة لبذور هذا الالم من اجل معالجته.
