الملخص
تمثل منظومة شبكة النقل الحضري في الوقت الحاضر جزءْا مهما وحيويا من استعمالات أرض المدينة ومرافقها الحيوية ، وتعد احد العوامل التي تؤدي إلى زيادة الارتباط والتفاعل بين الأماكن ، وان هدف البحث هو دراسة اصناف الشوارع وظيفيا في مدينة كركوك وبيان خصائص كل صنف منها ، إذ يعتبر التصنيف الوظيفي من التصانيف المهمة للشوارع داخل المينة ، وتصنف الشوارع وظيفيا أي حسب الوظيفة التي تشغلها الواجهات المطلة عليها أو الاستعمال المتغلب للأبنية التي تحتل جوانبها و تؤدي شوارع المدينة وظائف مختلفة ، وبالرغم من أهمية الوظيفة التي تنهض بها جوانب الشوارع فإن الأهم منها هي حركة مرور المركبات والسابلة ، حيث تكتسب الشوارع نفس الوظيفة التي يؤديها مركز المدينة والمحلات السكنية التي تربط بينها أو تمتد فيها لتشمل الوظيفة التجارية و الوظيفة السكنية والوظيفة الصناعية والوظيفة الترفيهية ، وان هذا الاصناف تجذب اليها انواعا من استعمالات الارض تتناسب معها من ثم يظهر شكل المدينة النهائي، وعلى اساس تصنيف شبكة الشوارع في مدينة كركوك توصلت الدراسة انه يمكن تصنيف الشوارع وظيفيا الى اربعة انواع وهي شوارع (سكنية ، تجارية ، صناعية ، ترفيهية )، وتوصي الدراسة بان يكون هناك توافق بين انماط استعمالات الارض وشبكة النقل لكي لا ينمو استعمال على حساب الاستعمال الاخر.
