الملخص
يعد الحجاز من أهم بقاع الأرض، وأكثرها عناية من قبل ملايين المسلمين تلك البقعة الغالية التي كتب عنها العلماء، والمؤرخون والرحالة، والحجاج ، لقد تفاقم الصراع السياسي في بدايات القرن العشرين بين قادة الأشراف والحكام السعوديين، وكذلك فيما بينهم وبين السلاطين العثمانيين، الأمر الذي ظهر جلياً من خلال الشكاوى المرفوعة للسلطان العثماني المخلوع في ذلك الوقت عبد الحميد الثاني ، وفي الحقيقة سلطت الدراسة الضوء على المنصرين ومحاولاتهم القيام بعمليات التنصير "التبشير" في بلاد الحجاز، وقيام السلطات الحجازية بالقبض عليهم وإبعادهم عن الأراضي الحجازية. كما تناولت الدراسة عمليات توريد الأسلحة البريطانية إلى الحجاز خلال الفترة (من نوفمبر ١٩٢٤م وحتى مارس ١٩٢٨م).
