الملخص
نَّ الاستعمار الفرنسي في الكاميرون1916ـــــــــ1946م، هو موضوع بالغ الأهمية، إذ انعكست لغة وثقافة وحتى ديانة المستعمر الأوربي على شعوب الكاميرون الذي كان محل صراع استعماري خطير حتى نهايات حقبة الخمسينيات من القرن العشرين ، ولذلك أرتى الباحثان دراسة الظروف التي ساعدت إلى وجود المُستعمر الفرنسي في تلك المنطقة من القارة الأفريقية وذلك عن طريق البحث في محاولة لدراسة وكشف جوانب التنافسات الأوروبية ، لذلك تم تقسيم البحث على خمسة محاور رئيسة تناول الأول: دوافع التوجه الفرنسي نحو أفريقيـا، والثاني درس: الكـاميــرون في ظـل الانتـداب الفـرنسـي1916ـــــــ1946م، والثالث درس: الكـاميـرون فـي ظـل الـوصـايـا الفـرنسـيـة، في حين خُصص المحور الرابع لدراسة: نظـام الإدارة والحـكـم الفـرنسي في الكـاميــرون، والخامس درس: الأوضاع الـداخلية في الكاميرون في ظل الحكم الفرنسي 1916ــــــــ1946م.
