المقاومة العمانية للاحتلال البرتغالي للخليج العربي

الملخص
مرت عمان بحقب تاريخية صعبة حالها حال بقية مناطق الخليج العربي منذ القرن الخامس عشر إلى ما بعد منتصف القرن السابع عشر الميلادي، بسبب وصول أولى القوى الأوربية الغازية للمنطقة العربية المتمثل بالأحتلال البرتغالي. وهنا لا بد من إلقاء الضوء على ما تعرضت له تلك المناطق ولاسيما في عمان التي تقع عند مداخل الخليج العربي الجنوبية من حوادث، جعلت منها قوة مؤثرة أدت دورا" بارزا"في الأحداث العالمية والعلاقات الدولية.
أثبتت الأحداث التاريخية أبان الغزو البرتغالي لعمان، بأنها كانت تعاني من الانقسامات الداخلية الناتجة عن الخلافات المذهبية والقبلية والحروب المتكررة، وأن تلك الأحداث هيأت المناخ المناسب للغزاة البرتغاليين واستغلوها لتثبيت ما كانوا يهدفون إليه في التحكم بتجارة الخليج العربي، وإقصاء دور العرب في التجارة الدولية من خلال تحكمهم بالممرات الحيوية ومحاصرة الموانئ الخليجية من ممارسة أي نشاط ملاحي وتجاري يدعم نهوضها الاقتصادي والسياسي والاجتماعي، مما جعلت تلك الظروف من أن يتطلع العمانيون إلى زعيم قوي ينقذهم من حالة الفوضى والتمزق ويقودهم نحو سلطة مركزية واحدة، أدت إلى أن تضع حدا" للاحتلال البرتغالي وتحرير ساحل عمان جميعه من هيمنتهم وإقامة وحدة وطنية بين القبائل العمانية، والتي أثبتت جدارتها في دحر الغزاة في معاركها البرية والبحرية.
تناول البحث الأسباب الحقيقية التي جعلت من الاحتلال البرتغالي القوة التي سيطرت على عمان، ثم تناول البحث الأسباب التي أدت إلى ضعف وانهيار الاحتلال وانسحابه من المنطقة العربية تدريجيا"بعد أن وجهت له ضربات من المقاومة العربية في الخليج العربي. وبالمقابل تطرق البحث أيضا" الأسباب التي مرت بها عمان، والتي كانت سببا" في ضعفها وساعدت المحتل البرتغالي لاحتلالها ثم أخذ البحث بنظر الاعتبار الأوضاع الداخلية لعمان والخلافات التي كانت قائمة بين الغفاريين والهناويين لا سيما قبل قيام ناصر بن مرشد اليعربي بتأسيس الدولة اليعاربية عام 1624م, والتي كان لها دور مهم بالقضاء على الوجود البرتغالي، كما وأن عمان مرت بأحداث أخرى جعلت منها قوة" مؤثرة في المنطقة العربية والعالم.
